The South Beach modern platform bed is constructed of Eco-Friendly hardwood in a few great finishes. Metal hook and rail system allows for multiple configurations and and adjustable heights which can be used as a modern look low platform bed or add drawers to make it a storage platform bed. The modern concave arch and flat panel design give this bed a modern feel intertwined with classic design. Choose from open footrail or flat panel footboard. We recommend a flat panel or raised panel footboard when using with storage drawers. See detailed images for different footboard styles.
For customers choosing open footrail you can still customize the height of this bed. We will send you both short and long bed foot legs so you can customize the configuration.

All bed frames on PlatformBedsOnline.com are made to fit standard mattress sizes (size chart below). The dimensions listed in the dimensions tab are the exterior of the bed frame, not the mattress size. ALL King size bed frames are a Standard (or Eastern) King, unless specified. Standard King and Eastern King are used synonymously throughout the industry, and throughout our website. Cal (California) King beds are different from Standard (Eastern) King mattresses. California King mattresses are 4 inches longer and 4 inches narrower than Standard King mattresses. Also, unless otherwise specified, all bed frames are sold without the mattress, and DO NOT require a box spring.
