Before it was furniture, it was just an idea.

A Santa Barbara designer and mother, started designing furniture for a very practical reason: her 5-year-old daughter Sarah needed a bedroom set. "Sarah and I could not find any children's furniture that was like a child - fun, bright, bold and imaginative." explained Karen. "All the furniture we saw looked like miniature adult furniture, the colors were lifeless and the motifs were clichés". With daughter Sarah's ideas as an inspiration, Karen looked to create furniture that brought the magic into a child's room. We now features seven collections by Karen and Sarah, in themes for boys and girls along with matching accessories and bedding.
